Healing from Queen of Peace


Here (Medjugorje, Bosnia), one can also include the spiritual, mental and physical healings. Those who have experienced such healings, by their testimony awaken the faith and the curiosity and inspire people to leave their everyday life and tasks and to go to the people and places, which, through the intervention of God, have become the goal of many pilgrims. After the Holy Mass, the Creed, seven Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's are prayed followed by the prayer for healing. Our Lady asked us not to leave the Church immediately after Holy Mass, but to remain with Jesus. This is the best time to pray for healing, because before Communion we said to Jesus, "Only say the word and my soul shall be healed!" During this prayer, many inner healings occur and there have also been physical healings. (Dr. fra Slavko Barbaric)


The veneration of the Cross and Passion have been the best way to heal. "Dear children! I wish to tell you that the cross should be central these days. Pray especially before the cross from which great graces are coming. Now in your homes make a special consecration to the cross. Promise that you will neither offend Jesus nor abuse the cross. Thank you for having responded to my call." (September 12, 1985)

March 25, 1997 "Dear Children! Today I invite you in a special way to take the cross in the hands and meditate on the wounds of Jesus. Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds which you, dear children, have sustained during your life because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, will you understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator. By Jesus' passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you too can become true Apostles of faith when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call."
